Jennie’s Medi-Bus Gives Patients a Lift

The Methodist Jennie Edmundson Medi-Bus is a free shuttle service that takes qualified Jennie Edmundson patients to and from their hospital appointments.

It is a terrific option for individuals who are unable to drive themselves or take public transportation because of physical or financial limitations. Scheduling an appointment on the Medi-Bus is a safe and convenient way to make treatments or therapy sessions while maintaining an independent lifestyle.

For several years, the Medi-Bus has been funded by donors who have been touched by the stories of our uninsured, underserved, and/or elderly patients who - without this service - would have to forgo treatment. 

However, rising costs of fuel, maintenance, insurance and salaries require a level of financial support that exceeds our current funding levels.
