May 22nd: Omaha Gives! 24-Hour Online Charitable Challenge
What if there was one day set aside every year, just for giving? What could we accomplish in one day, if we all worked together? Omaha Gives! is a 24-hour online charitable challenge with the goal of raising as much money as possible for the Jennie Edmundson Hospital Foundation and the community of Council Bluffs.
August 16th-18th: Spirit of Courage
Join us as we raise dollars to benefit the JEH Charitable Cancer Patient Care Fund - a fund to assist JEH cancer patients in a time of need. Each year during our Spirit of Courage event we honor four amazing individuals who have gone through cancer and will share their stories of courage. October 11th: Pink-Out Day
Once again, we will turn the town 'pink' in our month-long efforts to raise awareness of Breast Cancer during October. The proclamation will be read on Friday evening, October 11th in the 100 Block of Broadway. For photos of our 2012 event, click here.
Three Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital employees were featured in recent news programs and articles.
The 4th Annual Teen Volunteer Dress Sale was a great success! Nearly 100 eager shoppers made their way to the Micah House on Saturday, April 16th.
Jennie Edmundson Hospital Foundation staff, along with the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Breast Health Center staff, traveled to Omaha for the 66th Annual Boat, Sports, & Travel Show at the Century Link Center February 21st - 24th.
The Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Gambler Half Marathon and 5K Race donate $4,264 from the 2012 event proceeds to the JEH Sports Medicine program.
