2012 Council Bluffs Marathon

Jennie Edmundson Hospital Celebrates 125 Years

Jennie Edmundson President and CEO Steve Baumert has been appointed the new 2012 Chairman of the Board for the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce. An active Chamber and community leader, Baumert is excited to build upon the many successes Council Bluffs has experienced in recent years. Currently, Steve is also a Director for the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation Board (IHERF) and just finished a stint as the Iowa Hospital Association’s District D Chairman.
Jennie Edmundson employees will celebrate the anniversary with a holiday meal in the hospital’s cafeteria between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 9.
The Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Gambler Half Marathon and 5K Race donate $4,512 from event proceeds to the JEH Sports Medicine program.
